Ashley is the founder and co-owner of Echelon Tattoo. She has been enjoying and creating art her whole life, and drawing since she was old enough to pick up a pencil. She has spent years exploring many creative endeavors – illustration, fine arts, graphics design, t-shirt and product design, 3D aerospace design, mural painting, holiday window painting, caricature art, record label production management/design, and more – before deciding to set her sights on pursuing her dream of tattooing in 2005.

She has tattooed in Connecticut (Kustom Kulture – apprenticeship and 3 years tattooing, Precise Piercing and Tattoos – 2 years), New York City (True Blue [Queens], Armageddon, Gallery 54 [Brooklyn] – 2 years), Austin Texas (Atomic Tattoo [artist and shop manager] – 5 years).

After moving to Utah in 2017, she opened Echelon Tattoo in historic Midvale with a vision for an inclusive and inviting space where clients and artists alike feel safe and welcome, and where creativity and perfection of skill are at the forefront.

Ashley specializes in her own carefully cultivated unique style of tattoos with blackwork, traditional, and neo-traditional influences, as well as cover-ups. She enjoys doing pre-drawn as well as custom designs where she brings the client’s vision to life in her style. She has tattooed people from all walks of life and has clients from all over the world, and looks forward to hearing about your next tattoo idea!
